Robert M. Darroll

Chief Executive Officer and President – Cheetah Software Systems

Bobby Darroll has built Cheetah Software Systems into world’s most advanced platform for optimizing logistics operations. The Cheetah systems power the wireless based distribution and supply chain engines of some of the leading businesses in the USA.  Cheetah’s current customers include Macy’s Systems and Technology, Fedex Office and Print Services and Central Freight Lines.

Previously, Mr. Darroll worked as a systems engineer at Perseus Computing in South Africa and created logistics solutions for Total Oil.  Stemming from his intense interest from an early age in computer solutions to business problems, and in particular, logistics and customer service issues, today Mr. Darroll is one of the world’s leading experts in logistics, business solutions, and future directions in the retail world.

Mr. Darroll developed the original Cheetah System in 1986.  Mr. Darroll has more than 28 years of professional business computer experience with an emphasis in logistics, routing, scheduling, and studied Computer Science and Statistics at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Greg Confer

Vice President of Business and Logistics Solutions – Cheetah Software Systems

Greg is responsible for ensuring that Cheetah’s customers receive the technologies and support they need to improve their profitability and scalability. Greg works with new customers and Cheetah staff to define product requirements, functionality, and objectives and help align Cheetah’s future products with customer needs.

Greg Confer is a 27-year veteran of the transportation industry with experience in trucking, warehousing, and logistics. Mr. Confer began his transportation career with RPS (Now FedEx ground) where he served as Corporate Linehaul Manager coordinating the linehaul operations of 30 hubs and nearly 400 satellite terminals.

In 2004, Mr. Confer accepted a position with Ward Transport and Logistics Corporation as the Director of Process Analysis and Improvement, where he researched, planned, and successfully implemented the Cheetah Solution within the first few months of his tenor.

Jeff Groenke

Vice President Sales & Implementation – Cheetah Software Systems

Jeff Groenke has extensive executive and sales experience with over 25 years of record-breaking sales in the highly competitive transportation/logistics and technology industries. He has effectively managed budgets up to $1billion and teams from 3 to 1,200 people and was recognized by Cambridge “Who’s Who” for dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of sales and marketing.

Mr. Groenke is a strong leader and has worked alongside some of the top executives, excelling in motivational skills, and the ability to inspire both individuals and teams to achieve peak performance. Mr. Groenke is an expert in his field, effectively utilizing his ability to motivate, inspire and lead!

A multi-functional, global sales executive, Mr. Groenke has a proven record of driving growth and profits for Fortune 100 industry leaders, serving as SVP Sales at NTSG, Inc, as well as previous senior executive and sales and marketing and management positions at Ward Transportation and Logistics, DHL Express and FedEx Ground (RPS). He is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Throughout his career Mr. Groenke has demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and the expertise necessary to launch startups, turn around struggling divisions and increase revenues by dramatically improving responsiveness to customer needs, providing outstanding customer service, embracing state of the art technology and identifying new market opportunities.

Today, he is responsible for Cheetah’s Sales and Implementation providing a more cohesive experience for our customers ensuring that the company is prepared to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.
